Struggling With Copywriting?
Helpful Hints for Virtual Assistants (Part 4 of 4)
As we’ve talked about before, it’s essential to learn as much as possible about a product or service before beginning a marketing project.
When writing copy for your own Virtual Assistant business, you probably already know everything you need to – or at least you think you do.
But for a clear picture of your VA client’s business, here are some questions you’ll want to ask:
• What was the driving force behind the creation of your product or service?
• What are the key benefits of your product or service?
• If you had only 30 seconds to describe your business, what would you say?
• Explain your company image and style (casual, corporate, cutting edge, etc.).
• If this is a printed piece, how will it be distributed to the end user (e.g., via direct mail, on demand, by hand, online, etc.)?
• What is the ultimate goal for this project?
• Who is your target audience?
• What is not commonly known about your company, product or service?
• What problems does your product or service solve? What solutions does it offer?
• List the most commonly asked questions about your product or service, as well as the answers you give.
• List the most common misconceptions and/or assumptions customers have about your product or service.
